Sunday School

A Sunday School was held in St Mary's church and weekly attendance could be recorded in a Stamp Album.

The front cover of an album circa 1950 is shown on the left and some sample pages below.

There were exhortations in the album to encourage attendance such as:-

"Every Stamp says Duty done. Every blank cries Shame"

In 1982 a new Sunday School for the joint Benefice was formed  meeting at Madresfield C of E School. Later the Sunday School was renamed Junior Church.
